Contact Us

One inbox, read by humans: contact@cryptocompare.uk. Corrections jump the queue — if we published a wrong fact, we want to know today, not next quarter.

How to reach us

Email is the only channel: contact@cryptocompare.uk. No contact forms, no chat widgets, no social-media DMs that go to an intern. A plain-text email with a clear subject line gets read fastest.

What to write about

  • Corrections and factual errors. Our favourite category. If a rate limit, fee, coin count or product claim on any page is wrong or has gone stale, send the page URL, the sentence in question and — ideally — a link to the authoritative source. We fix confirmed factual errors fast, usually within a couple of business days, and note the change.
  • Partnership and advertising enquiries. We are open to talking, with one non-negotiable caveat spelled out on our About page: commercial relationships never touch factual claims. Partner links are always rel="nofollow", and no partner reviews our editorial text before publication. If that works for you, write to us.
  • Feedback and topic requests. Missing comparison? A guide that skips the question you actually had? Tell us. Reader mail has shaped several of our pages, including the off-ramp guide.
Never send us your seed phrase, private keys, passwords or 2FA codes. Not in an email, not in a screenshot, not “just the first few words”. We will never ask for them — no legitimate site will. Anyone contacting you in our name and asking for a seed phrase or exchange password is a scammer, full stop. Delete the message and, if funds are at risk, move them to a fresh wallet immediately.

Response times

We are a small desk, not a call centre. Expect a reply to corrections within 1–2 business days and to everything else within about a week. If something is genuinely urgent — say, a page is actively misleading readers — put “CORRECTION” in the subject line and it goes to the top of the pile.

What we cannot help with

This one matters, so read it before you write. cryptocompare.uk is an independent publisher — not an exchange, not a wallet, not a support desk for any platform we cover. We hold no customer funds and have no access to anyone’s account, which means we cannot:

  • recover lost, stolen or mis-sent cryptocurrency;
  • unlock, verify or reset an account on CryptoCompare, CEX.IO, Binance or any other platform;
  • reverse a transaction or trace funds for you;
  • give personalised investment advice.

For account problems, contact the official support of the platform in question through its official website — and only through its official website. If you are unsure how custody works and why nobody can “reset” a non-custodial wallet, our wallet guide explains it in plain English.

Press and attribution: journalists are welcome to quote our guides with a link back to the page. For anything else, the address above works for that too.

Frequently asked questions

What is the fastest way to get a correction published?

Email contact@cryptocompare.uk with “CORRECTION” in the subject, the page URL, the exact claim and a source. Confirmed factual errors are typically fixed within 1–2 business days.

Can cryptocompare.uk recover my lost crypto or unlock my exchange account?

No. We are an independent publisher with no access to any exchange, wallet or blockchain admin panel — no such panel exists. Contact the official support of the platform involved; be wary of anyone else offering “recovery services”, as most are scams.

Will cryptocompare.uk ever ask for my seed phrase or password?

Never, under any circumstances. Anyone requesting your seed phrase, private keys or 2FA codes while claiming to represent us is a scammer. Legitimate sites and support teams never need that information.
